Product Description
Flamingo (Pretty in Pink)
Here in the heart of the Sussex Countryside there is a lovely little zoo called Drusillas Park and ‘you guess it’ they have Pink flamingos. One Day last Summer A friend and Professional joined me on a day out photographing all the wonder creature that reside at Drusillas Park. We had a great day together and we’d taken hundreds of photos of all manner of wildlife at this little Zoo. When I got home and looked at my photos I was amazed at some of the images I caught and I just had to paint one or two, hence Pretty in Pink (Pink Flamingo) was born.
The original is 35cm square and painted on Arches Aquarelle 640gsm NOT paper with watercolour paints and set in an oak frame with white mount – Total size 50cm Sq- Is now sold

Should you like to commission a painting of your favorite bird (click here).
Pretty in Pink is a signed limited edition of 100.
The limited edition prints are of the highest quality and printed with Archival Inks on Minuet Paper 300gsm, 100% cotton with deckle edges.
You can buy the print framed or unframed, the choice is yours. The framed supplied is white wood grain, light weight with ClearView-PlexGlas and soft white mount. The framed size will be specified above.
Caring for your original watercolour or print:- To keeps colours bright and protect your print from fading, always hang out of direct sunlight and mount under glass.
Mounted prints will have a white surround – this type of mounting will not show the decked edges of the print
Deckle edges are rough edges and I choose this finish because I like the look of deckle edges when free floating a print under glass.
Free floating is adhering the print to a piece of mount-board larger that the print so that the rough or deckle edges can be seen when framed. This is an effective and modern way of displaying your prints.
