Andalusian Horse Drawing
This is one in a series of water soluble graphite pencil drawings focusing on the movement of the horse. This drawing depicts a Andalusian Stallion moving gracefully form the rear and shows how the rear and front hooves almost meet in a dressage style movement.
The original is 35.5cm square including the frame and set in a graphite coloured mount. The art is drawing onto 600gsm watercolour paper.
The frame is a second-hand old style pine frame, that has been lovingly up-cycled by myself using several paint layers that I have then knocked back to achieve a somewhat unique antique style all of my own. I am passionate about re-using and up-cycling frames that have been disgarded in car boots and charity shops. with just a little bit of love and attention they can take on a whole new look. I love how these frames have turned out and they are one of a kind.
Caring for your Watercolour:- To keeps colours bright and protect your painting from fading, always hang out of direct sunlight.
