Description

Mr Hare

This delightful watercolour painting of a hare is inspired the hares running around up at Rathfinny Wine Estate. Here in the Sussex Downs.  It seems everyone love the hares, so it was inevitable that I would paint a portrait of a hare or two.

The original is 12cm square and painted on Arches Aquarelle 640gsm NOT paper with watercolour paint and set in a deep white wood frame total size 20cm sq  (SOLD)

Mr Hare Print is a signed limited edition of 20.  12cm sq with a 3cm boarder bringing the total size of the print to 26cm sq

The limited edition prints are of the highest quality and printed with Archival Inks on Arches Paper 300gsm, 100% cotton.
You can buy the print framed or unframed, the choice is yours. The framed supplied is white wood grain, light weight with ClearView-PlexGlas and soft white mount. The framed size will be specified above.

Caring for your original watercolour or print:- To keeps colours bright and protect your print from fading, always hang out of direct sunlight and mount under glass.
Deckle edges are rough edges and I choose this finish because I like the look of deckle edges when free floating a print under glass.
Free floating is adhering the print to a piece of mount-board larger that the print so that the rough or deckle edges can be seen when framed. This is an effective way of displaying your prints and the one I often choose at home.
