Description

Flamingo (Pretty in Pink)

Here in the heart of the Sussex Countryside, there’s a lovely little zoo called Drusillas Park, and ‘you guess it’ they have Pink flamingos.  A friend and professional photographer, joined me on a day out photographing all the wonderful creatures that resided at Drusillas Park.  We had a great day together and we’d taken hundreds of photos of all manner of wildlife at this little Zoo. The images I’d caught were great and lent themselves nicely to my painting, hence Pretty in Pink was born.

The original is 35cm x 35cm, watercolour on Arches Aquarelle 640gsm NOT paper, oak frame. SOLD

The limited-edition signed prints are of the highest quality. Printed with Archival ink on 100% cotton Minuet Paper 300gsm with deckle edges.
You can buy the print framed or unframed, the choice is yours.
The framed supplied is white wood grain, lightweight with Clear View – Plexiglass and soft white mount.
The framed size will be specified above.

Caring for your prints or watercolors, keeping colours bright. Protect your watercolors and print from fading by hanging out of direct sunlight and mounting them under glass.

Deckle edges are rough edges.
Free-floating is adhering the print to a piece of mount-board larger than the print. This allows the rough or deckle edges to be seen when framed. It’s an effective way of displaying your prints and the one I often choose at home.
