Description

Nias the Sumatran Tiger

My tiger portrait is painted with oil on a linen canvas and much of the canvas is still visible as part of the background. This is because linen canvas as has lovely buff colour and lends itself to being exposed as part the composition.

The original  60cm x 60cm x 4cm, oil on linen canvas.  SOLD

Limited Edition Prints  are printed on Archival 100% Cotton Minuet Paper 300gsm with a 5cm white deckle edge and Archival inks.
Prints can be purchased framed or unframed. The frame I supply is 5.5cm wide with Burnished black and bright silver finish plus ClearView-PlexGlas and soft white mount.

Caring for your print:-  Keeps colours bright and protect your print from fading by hanging out of direct sunlight and mount under glass.

Deckle edges are rough edges and I choose this finish because I like the look of deckle edges when free floating a print under glass.
Free floating is adhering the print to a piece of mount-board larger that the print so that the rough or deckle edges can be seen when framed. This is an effective way of displaying your prints and the one I often choose at home.
